Reyna Dismukes Commits to Seattle University

Reyna grew up on the soccer field. She started her first two years of play with her dad coaching her before spreading her wings to San Juan where she played most of her time. It wasn’t until two years ago that she made the move to Folsom Lake Surf playing under Rino. Here she has gained much more confidence in her play and met some great teammates.

In January Reyna tore her ACL during a High School soccer game. She has worked hard to get back on field and will playing her first game since her injury this weekend in Arizona. When Reyna isn’t playing soccer, she keeps herself busy volunteering at All About Equine, a horse rescue facility, and running with the High School track team where she is the team captain and holds the school record in the 4X100 relay and Long Jump.

“I would like to thank my family for supporting me and helping me get to where I am today. I would also like to thank my teammates and my opponents, you helped me grow as a person and an athlete. Thank you to my coaches who have helped me grow into the athlete I am today. I have always wanted to continue my education while playing soccer. I can’t wait to play D1 soccer and run track at Seattle University. Go Redhawks!” ~ Reyna Dismukes
