I grew up attending my older cousin and brother’s soccer games and fell in love with the game before I was even old enough to play. I was the little sibling on the sideline always trying to run on the field in the middle of their games. Finally, at 4 I was able to join my first rec team and never looked back.

I joined my first competitive team as a U10. I was so excited for the more intense, competitive experience. I loved being around players that challenged me to get better and pushed me to a higher level. It’s also when I really feel in love with watching professional games and dreaming of playing in university.

I had always wanted to play at a D1 school but after breaking my ankle my junior year I thought it would be a better idea to play a season at a smaller school then transfer in the spring. I accepted a scholarship to Azusa Pacific with those plans but really loved the school and decided to stay. It was an amazing four years that gave me so many opportunities to share my passion for the game of soccer outside of just being a soccer player.

It was during my time there that I started coaching soccer camps and realized my passion for sharing the game with younger players. After graduating I spent three years traveling around the world coaching camps and playing. It was such a rewarding experience and I’ve been coaching ever since.
